I've become slower!

My plan is to write a short coda for Octavius and the Perfect Governess that will touch on Bunny and the girls. The girls will get a mother. :)

Yes, all of them will be, Vickie! Resisting Miss Merryweather is in the throes of distribution right now. It's already available on some platforms and should be on Audible within the next few weeks. Trusting Miss Trentham is being edited at the moment, and the others have either been recorded or are about to be recorded. It's quite a time consuming process, but I'm hoping they'll all be available in audio by the end of the year. :)

The Marquis of Revelstoke will definitely be getting his own book, Fiona! I love him as a character and already have some of his scenes plotted out. Unfortunately I won't be able to write it for a while, as I have another series to complete first, but Revelstoke will get his own book, I promise!

Jane, at the moment I only have the North American rights to this book, so I can't release it in the UK. :( I'm hopeful I'll be able to release it in the UK in the future ... it's a negotiating-and-waiting game at present. If I do get the rights back I promise I shall immediately release the book!

Yes, there will be more Baleful Godmother books! I'm starting a new Baleful Godmother series set in Regency England featuring a family of aristocratic cousins (the Garlands), plus there's another set of cousins who'll get their own series. The first books should be out in 2018.
I'm so glad you're enjoying the series. I can't believe you read them all in a week!

Believe it! I did the same! I have just read 'Miss Appleby' for the fourth time and think it is the best of all the Godmother books so far with some really novel ideas and plot twists. Must admit I didn't bother to read 'Mr Kemp' because M/M stories are just not my style, I''m glad that the non-magical people react to the magical 'gifts' just the way you would expect them too, ie they think the girls are seriously weird. Please hurry and publish the next Garland book so I can see how some unfortunate Bow St Runner gets mixed up with the Baleful Godmother girls!

Rachel, I'm so sorry I didn't see your comment until now! I'm truly glad that you enjoy Miss Appleby so much; it's uplifting to hear. Thank you for telling me! You'll be pleased to know that the Bow Street Runner book is out next week. Finally! It took rather a long time, what with the pandemic and an unexpected brush with cancer. I hope you enjoy it when you read it. xoxo

Interesting question, Summer! You know, I’ve never thought about it before. I think … I like a mixture of both. Usually I write about people who don’t know each other falling in love, but sometimes I want to write about characters with a shared history. I really enjoyed writing My Lady Thief. It was fun to tip all Adam and Arabella’s prejudices upside down and watch them learn to see each other through new eyes.

Thanks for your comments, Trish -- it sounds as if you know your audio books! I'll do some listening to different narrators (male and female) before I make my decision.
Cheers!

Thanks for asking, Trish! Yes, my books will be available in audio in the future.
I can't give you a date as things are in the very early stages, but rest assured it will happen! The narrator will be British, but I haven't yet decided on male or female. What's your preference? Male or female voices?

It's portable! I can travel AND write!

A new series that's dark and sexy and has a backdrop that stretches from the glittering ballrooms of the aristocracy to the seedy underbelly of society. Lots of scope for adventure and romance!

I find that the best time for generating story ideas is when I'm waking up in the mornings. I imagine all sorts of conversations and scenes then!
