Kyle Shoop Thanks! I worked hard on the music for the novel. Actually, two songs come to mind as standing out to me the most from my songs: Remember When and For You My Dear. Remember When is a beautiful, story-telling acoustic melody which has always stood out to me. For You My Dear was actually my wedding song that I wrote for my wife. I re-wrote the lyrics for this story, but I still love the passion which guilds up at the end. It fit this story perfectly.

For those who don't know, The Sound of Love has an accompanying soundtrack that you can listen to as you read lyrics in the book. It's free to listen to and is on platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. Just search "The Soundtrack of Love" as the album and "Guy + Guitar" as the artist.
Kyle Shoop Great question! I travel to many fictional book worlds while writing :-) I created an orphanage in my new novel, The Sound of Love. I fell in love with the young girl and boy characters I created in that novel. I'd love to travel there and be a fly on the wall to watch them interact while being kids. The adventures they create and go on would be fun to watch from a distance.
Kyle Shoop Unfortunately, I actually won't be reading much this summer. Instead, I'm gearing up to start writing my next novel - something different than the Acea Bishop Trilogy (since that's completed), and in a different genre!
Kyle Shoop Don't write for the audience - instead write a story that you are moved by. Also, don't listen to other people's advice, do what works best for you.
Kyle Shoop The rush I get when I finish the first draft of a novel. Words don't describe the feeling. Also, I love hearing back from readers!
Kyle Shoop I don't deal with it. If there's moments where I don't have a clear image of where the story or characters are going, then I just don't write and instead think alot about where things are going. Generally, this hasn't been too difficult since I've had the beginnings and endings of each book plotted out for quite some time.
Kyle Shoop I'm currently finishing up the last novel of the Acea Bishop Trilogy, which I'm excited to announce will be entitled "Acea and the Adventure Thru Time." I think it's awesome how some readers have already made a page for this book and added it as "to-read." Thanks!
