Weirdly enough, a lot of my stories start off as fanfic in my head: video games, movies, television, etc. I also have stories start off from conversations I overhear, or I hear an emotional bit of music and my brain just starts working.

The Legion was definitely a story that has been in my head since I was 15 or 16. I was heavily inspired by watching Xena and Buffy the Vampire Slayer but also by anime and fantasy novels I read as a kid. The story was originally a straight science fiction one, but eventually I added the fantasy elements, and everything just clicked.

I am currently working on two projects: rewriting the first two stories of The Legion and developing a sci-fi comic series called Paradiso. Between working and those, I don't have a lot of time for anything else, including sleep.
