Also, what is your favorite novel that you have written?
Lani Lenore Among my published works, The Needle’s Eye is definitely one of my favorites. I really enjoy all the ideas that came together to create that one. The writing experience itself greatly influences my ideas about a completed work, and may be a bit different from how readers look at the final product. It means a lot to me when I pour my heart and soul into a project. However, the reigning favorite of mine is The Nutcracker Bleeds. I just love the way that one turned out. I loved the process of writing it, the characters, and the plot. I’m currently preparing a second-edition release for that one, and I’m so excited about it!

The Needle's Eye is one of my favorite novels of all time. My boyfriend also bought me the Dark Depths book for Christmas; I have been dying to read it! Now I find out you have another new novel out, The Hallowed. My question is how do you churn out stories so quickly? I love your books!
Lani Lenore Hello, Abby! Thank you for the question! The truth is that I have spent many years writing, and many of the novels I’ve been releasing since I started to publish in 2013 were already written (or at least begun, and I merely had to finish them). So basically, I spend some time editing and rewriting them as I need to before I decide on a release date. I still have a few more to go, but I’m reaching the end of my previously written works, and I’ll soon be publishing all new material, but the frequency of my publishing could very well slow down at that point. This year has been a busy year for me though. I’ve tried to do a lot, and I’ve succeeded. That’s why you’ve been seeing a lot of new work from me recently. In addition to The Hallowed, I’m also re-releasing another of my books before Christmas this year. I find that it’s working out for me to stay busy!

Hello! I've been following you since you've decided to publish Nevermor (which I adore the series by the way) and was wondering if or when you were planning on publishing The Hallowed? It's one of my favorite of yours, besides the Nevermor trilogy, and I would love to be able to buy and read it again some day. Until then, I'll finally be picking up The Nutcracker Bleeds and The Needle's Eye from you for Christmas!
Lani Lenore Hello! I definitely plan to release The Hallowed, but I currently have no release date for it. It will just depend on whenever I'm able to devote the time to editing. I'm trying to go back and forth between releasing my fairy tale retellings and original stories, but I currently have no estimate on time for that one.

Hello Ms. Lenore! Your fairy tales are awesome! Nevermor was your first book I read and it was great! But I was wondering how the final book is coming along? You made Peter Pan into a epic hero! Also do you know when is the physical release for Dark Depths? I'm excited about it and I'd be interested to know if you already have a date for it. Hope to see more fairy tales from you!
Lani Lenore Hi Ben! First, I am so sorry that it took me this long to get back to you. I don't know if this message ever came through my email, and I simply didn't know it was here! But since it has been so long, at least I can give you some good news at this point: Nevermor #3, Shadow Sun, is finished and will be released very soon. Now that it's complete, I'll be starting back with Dark Depths again, and hope to have a release date for it in a month or two. Are your books available in places like waterstones and WHsmith?
Lani Lenore Hi Meisha! I apologize, but my books are mostly limited to places like Amazon and Barnes and Noble for now, especially the print versions. I hope to one day have more options, but for now, I am a bit limited with distribution.

Hi. I read Nevermor, and I recently finished The Nutcracker Bleeds. And I am in love with your stories. They aren't available in my country in paper forms so I had to fish them out as ebooks. The plot, the characters, the environment, the prose...everything fits perfectly. It inspires me. I just wanted to ask, will you do any giveaways in the future?
Lani Lenore Hello Saleha, thank you so much for the high praise! To answer your question, I have done giveaways through Goodreads before, but they are usually US only, because of high shipping costs. Perhaps one day I'll have better opportunities for international printing and shipping, but for now, I am mostly limited to ebooks for expanded distribution.
