Robert Rotstein Thank you for asking. Writing books -- like reading them -- is one of the few permissible ways that adults can explore make-believe worlds. When I'm writing a story, plot incidents and dialogue will suddenly come to me, and I'll feel compelled to write them down.

Hello Mr. Rotstein ( is that styne or steen?) Will there be a 4th Parker Stern book? I'm really warming up to them/him, although the second was my least favorite. Hope you keep at it.

Robert Rotstein Thank you for your question and for reading my books! It's "steen," though I answer to both. Right now, I'm taking a break from Parker and writing a standalone about how a huge law firm in which ambition and competition can lead to disaster. But I have ideas for more Parker Stern books in the future. Thank you again!
