It's a romance.

Hi Barbara,
Great question!
I have written 5 series so far, and they range from being about a billionaire and a single mom, romance set in Italy (a jilted bride finding love again) and a corporate high-flying executive who falls for a younger man - plus I have 2 spin-off series for as well.

Do you mean in my books, or books in general that I've read?

I'm so sorry, Ale... :-( I only saw this question now.
There is no Gift 4 BUT there are 5 more parts to the Billionaire's Story - the book you are after, the one that comes after The Gift, Book 3 is The Offer, Book 1. You can see all the books here:

Sometimes I procrastinate for ages. And I'll find things to do...like clean the house, go shopping, surf the net. Clean the house...and then I know I'm avoiding writing. So I just sit down at my computer, open my files, set the timer and just type. Getting to that point is the hardest. Once I'm over it, I get carried away.
So how do I deal with writer's block? Force myself to sit down, and write. The timer always helps.

Getting to make up stuff all day long!

Read a lot. Read different genres, not just the one you're thinking of writing in. Learn as much as you can about the craft and then just try writing something.

The first of three unrelated books in my 'Tainted Love' series. This is a spin-off from my popular 'Perfect Match' series. So many readers loved those characters that my standalone novella, 'The Proposal' ended up becoming a trilogy. And then people still wanted to know about the secondary characters, hence the new 'Tainted Love' series.

I get irritable if I don't write!
Usually, say it's a new book idea I have, the idea is swirling around in my head, I have an event or 'something that happens' and then the characters react to that event. So I have a bare bones idea of 'something'.
The problem occurs when I sit down and try to get out the words to describe what's going on in my head. That gap - between the story in my head and what I get out on paper - can either have me typing away furiously, in which case it's all coming out, or I'm writing stuff I don't like and it's not the story in my head. And then I have to take a back seat and rethink things through. Either way, the frustration of not having the story go how I want, or have it go the way I want, both result in me finding it not so hard to sit down and write. How long I sit in my chair is another matter entirely...

The last book I published was 'Honeymoon Blues' and it was simply a conclusion to the story of two people who had met by chance during my heroine's solo honeymoon.
