cj Sez: Actually I've already used it...I was always fascinated with the family legend that my great-grandfather and grandfather (as a child) happened to be in Round Rock, Texas, when Texas Rangers shot down the outlaw Sam Bass. I turned that into a short, historical-fiction-romance story, "Fool's Gold" in the anthology, THE POSSE.

My most recent work is a short story published in "THE POSSE" an anthology of Western short stories of history, mystery, myth, greed, and love. I opted for "Bad Day at Round Rock" because family lore tells me that my great-grandfather was in the west Texas cow town of Round Rock, Texas, when the outlaw Sam Bass was shot down.
