Think of it as being in a band. When you just start out, you're playing in the garage. If you're lucky, you get a gig at the local bar. If you're good and gather a following. You'll get better gigs.

Humans have finally made their first contact. But the alien race on the planet are no more than savages. 60 years have passed and an engineered virus has been traced back to their world. Human interference has nearly destroyed their culture, but one scientist thinks it holds the key to stopping the viruse's devastation. Can she find the answer before both races vanish from the universe?
The title is Kawokee.

From a poem. Antigonish by W.H. Means 1899. He inspired a lot of people with this one poem. I like Glen Miller's musical adaptation and find myself singing it at odd times. "I met a man upon the stair. A little man who wasn't there."
