Hello Pat,
Thank you for your kind words, I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. I also have bought David. P. Penhallow's book, but I haven't found the time to read it as of yet. As for a follow-up to my book LOTCCPR, I had started on one, but shelved it for the time being. I just finished writing a second edition of The Legend of the Coco Palms. It's out being edited at the moment, but I'm hoping it will be released by end of this year, if not, definitely the start of the new year.
Regards,
Rita

Odds On by Michael Crichton. It's a Hard Case Crime book, which he used to write under his pseudonym John Lange. My favourite Irish author, Sheila O'Flanagan's book The Missing Wife, I will most likely also read her new one that should be coming out later this summer. A memoir, I am Brian Wilson, because I have always been a huge fan of the Beach Boys.

(view spoiler)[My favorite fictional couple would have to be Carl and Ellie from Disney’s UP. I adore how they faced life’s challenges. When one was down, the other became stronger and lifted their partner. Life hadn’t always been fair to them, but it taught them to laugh and cry together. They were different on so many levels, except where it mattered most, love.
Even after Ellie’s passing, their love was apparent. Carl continued to live out their dream in her honor. It just doesn’t get any more loyal and honest than that. Love may not be storybook perfect, but when it’s true, it has longevity, which is what Carl and Ellie were all about.

I am currently working on a romance novel with elements of paranormal, which is set on one of the Hawaiian Islands.

For me it's character building. Nothing like creating your own little group of friends.

What works for me is putting the writing aside for a few days, or however long it might take to regroup. I try and do fun things that aren't relatated to writing. I find that once I take that pressure off of myself, I'm good to go again.
