Hi Michael, its not a case of a single event or item that was the catalyst for the idea. Morph is more a case of a story to of course remains fervently in the realm of fiction CURRENTLY, but equally involves genetic enhancements that are getting closer and coser to becoming a reality. Is that scary? Well possibly yes, because if / when we get to the point where humans are born "by design" its hard to contemplate how the future landscape of the world will look. Really hope you liked the book, its book 1 of the trilogy, with part 2 "Morph - Dawn of Sitka" coming next. Warm regards Tim
