Kay Bell
The Clark/ Bell family owned cattle stations in North Queensland, Australia for over a hundred years, and that's my inspiration. At their peak, their stations covered a greater total land mass than Luxembourg. The American Governess is purely fiction, however family lore has been the source of some of the background information. The American Governess is meant as a tribute to graziers and ranchers everywhere.
