Dom was the sidekick in 'To Catch a Star' but every time he was on the page he just seemed to take over. I fell a little in love with him then already and knew he had to get his own book. And that's how 'Not a Fairy Tale', my latest HarperImpulse release, came about.

You can do writing courses, read every 'how to' book out there, study the craft, but really the only way to learn to write is to sit down and write. Every time you type 'The End' on a manuscript you will have grown as a writer, learned something new and get better at it.

The best thing about being a writer is that I get to day dream all day, and it's socially acceptable.
