Thank you for enjoying them! I love hearing things like that.
To answer your question, I have some historical fiction in various stages of being written. I do intend to get them published, but my free time to write lately is limited (work, kids, studying, etc) I do have a Kiya sequel planned. I also have one in the works set right after the time of Boudicca in Britain, one set in Yorkshire at the turn of the century that's based on one of my ancestors, and one set in 1920s Georgia. I do have a very YA colonial Australia book coming out over the summer which is a simpler style, but a fun read.

There is four more! I have seven books planned and in various stages of being written. The next book, Sisters of Mahkba, is a Cinderella retelling, then it's retellings of "the man who knew no fear" "red Riding Hood/three little pigs" and finally "beauty and the Beast."

There are plenty of people out there trying to discourage you, and it doesn't end when you are published. Just be true to yourself and believe in your work. Try not to follow trends because they come and go faster than the seasons. Just write what's in your heart and make it shine!

I have a few because I'm feeling ambitious! I have all three books in the Women of Genesis series by Orson Scott Card, and I've already started Sarah. I've got 2 audiobooks, the last two books in Jamie Ayres' trilogy. I also want to finish the Chronicles of Narnia. I read the chronologically and reached Dawn Treader. My main goal is to check off the physical books I own that sit on my shelves.

(view spoiler)[That is a question my publishers will need to answer. For the Kiya Trilogy, contact Curiosity Quills Press (https://curiosityquills.com/) and for Dancing in the Athenian Rain contact Soul Mate Publishing (http://www.soulmatepublishing.com/)
They hold the rights to publish the books, so negotitions will need to go through them.
Thank you for your interest! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[For me, ninth grade was such a pivotal time in my life, that it felt right for Cadence's pivotal time to be the same. She could establish a solid base with her friendship with Geri before they fought, rebuilt a connection with Harper before Harper severed any ties with her, and placed plenty of time between meeting Austin and starting to date James for them to build a strong love. Her relationship with James was the most important though, because if it had started too close to her meeting Austin, she wouldn't have ever considered James. (hide spoiler)]

I have my seven book FairyTale Chronicles that I'm working on, but I'm also fixing up a Time Travel Romance, Dancing in the Athenian Rain.

I can do something I love while supporting my family financially. I love that I can be a stay at home mom
