My husband and I were in a fire on Feb 15th of this year. It was the largest fire Anchorage, Alaska as ever seen of its kind. It started at 2am in the morning. So we were asleep. Fire alarm went off, flashing lights and people screaming and cars exploding. We had about 2 minutes to be fully awake and run for our lives. We lived on the third floor of the apt building. The person tarted everything of course walked away into the Alaskan winter night never to be seen again. It is a regular who done it mystery. There were 16 injuries and two deaths. We watched the building and everything we owned burn to the ground.

We had about 2-3 minutes to gather our wits about us and run like hell was after us . That is what it felt like. We lived on the 3rd floor and we ran like hell I fell and hurt my elbow. It was dark because it is the Alaska night in the middle of winter.So that night the fire was the highlight of the night. 2 dead 16 injuried.

The hardest part is the marketing. So much has to be done. By the time you done well you are tired so no writing gets done.

I just took a summer class in college called: Lifewriting. It was by far the best college class I have ever taken. It was a small class of five women myself included. The teacher was also a woman. She was from England. She comes from England every summer for three weeks to teach this class. We learned how to to interview people, transcribe the interview, learned how tro use LULU to put your story there. We are all still friends. I really enjoyed it.
