Hello Amit... my apologies for the delay in replying. I too am eagerly awaiting the 4th book, and though some other authors’ works have been published, my publisher is of the opinion that launching the book now is not a wise decision as sales are very poor. He thinks we should wait for the situation to improve some more, so that the book gets the kind of success it deserves. Hopefully it’ll be out soon. Thanks for your patience.

Hello... I am aware that you have been waiting for the book eagerly :-) Yes, printing presses are opening slowly, but there's still a lot of uncertainty about bookstores opening. It will take some time to assess the situation, and till then we have no choice but to wait and watch. I can understand the frustration of readers, and I too feel frustrated at times, but these are tough times for everyone, and there is no option to patience.

Hello Priyam... thank you for writing in, and thank you for reading and loving the Vikramaditya Veergatha series so much. Yes, this lockdown has hugely delayed the release of Book 4, and I am sorry for that as so many readers are looking forward to the book. My publisher and I are monitoring the situation, but book distributors and bookstores aren’t functioning at full capacity yet. We are waiting to see if the situation improves once Unlock 3.0 comes into effect, so hopefully we’ll have an update in 15-20 days time.

The pandemic has really played havoc with a lot of plans, and yes, the release of Book 4 is one of the things that has been badly delayed, much to the disappointment of eager fans like you. I am in touch with my publisher, and unfortunately, doing a Kindle only release does not make sense for the book as the bulk of its sales come from bookstores / physical copies. And even though the 'unlock' process has started, printing presses and bookstores are not open yet, and even bookstores are not placing orders as no one knows how the situation will pan out in the coming weeks and months. My publisher is monitoring the situation, but we will have to wait some more time for the book to come out. Frustrating for you readers as well as for me, but it can't be helped. Thank you for your love and your patience.

This lockdown has been very unkind on all of us, and Book 4 and its eager readers have also been disappointed by the delay. Hello... Thanks for writing in. I know this wait has been very frustrating for those of you who have read Books 1-3. It's sad that the book is all ready to go to press, and is just waiting for the condition to improve. To answer your question, I just got a call from my publisher.
It seems that though the lockdown has been eased partially, the printing presses, and most distributors and book retailers are still functioning with a skeleton staff, and are employing a wait-and-watch policy as no one really knows how the pandemic is going to affect everyone once the lockdown eases. So bookstores aren't ordering new books, and even online deliveries are not fully operational. Under these circumstances, it is best if we wait a little longer and monitor the situation. My publisher assures me that they have The Wrath of the Hellfires on high priority, and that it will be the first book they send to press and distribution once there's more certainty in the situation.

The fact is that printing presses are not functioning, so we will have a better idea of when the book will be out only after the situation improves a little more. Thank you for your patience.

Hello Milind... thank you for writing in. And even more pleased to note that you have re-read all the three Vikramaditya books a second time. Thank you for the love. The last book was scheduled to come out by the end of this month, but unfortunately, due to the lockdown, that is now not going to happen. I have not idea when the book will go for printing now as the situation is still very unclear. But the hope is to bring it out as soon as the situation returns to normal. Fingers crossed. All going well, it should be out in end April, but there could be a slight delay on account of coronavirus. Keeping fingers crossed. Thank you for your patience 🙏🏽

I have finished the first draft, and am writing the second draft. If all goes well, the book will be out in February 2020.

Thanks for your love and your patience :-) I would love it if the books were translated in Telugu as I know there is a big audience in Andhra & Telangana, but for that I need a Telugu publisher to show interest.
