Mandi Bean I know I'm a little late to the party, but I've been absolutely devouring Jo Nesbo's Inspector Harry Hole series.
Mandi Bean I talk it out; I pitch ideas to friends and family members and consider their suggestions. The trick is, I think, to never ever give up on a piece. Everything can be revised and edited and turn into something shiny and new.

Mandi Bean Music tends to be my greatest inspiration. Powerful lyrics often create an image in my mind, and from there, I am usually able to flesh out a plot line.
Mandi Bean The idea for my most recent book actually came from an Elvis Presley song called "Moody Blue." The song is about the singer's mood swings and changes in personality that make the relationship exceedingly difficult, and I was curious as to how such a dynamic might play out.
