Music tends to be my greatest inspiration. Powerful lyrics often create an image in my mind, and from there, I am usually able to flesh out a plot line.

The idea for my most recent book actually came from an Elvis Presley song called "Moody Blue." The song is about the singer's mood swings and changes in personality that make the relationship exceedingly difficult, and I was curious as to how such a dynamic might play out.
