I think this is the third social media platform that I write to you on but I really need you to know how much I love Am I Normal Yet? And I only do this to authors whose books change me in a way. It really opened my eyes and made me think about things in a new and different way. My favorite thing about it is how incredibly realistic it is and how you wrote about feminism so wonderfully. Can't wait for what's next. xx

Will you be writing more on mental illness? I thought The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting and Am I Normal Yet were very important books in terms of awareness and content, and would love to read more like that

I've just finished The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting in one day, and I just really wanted to thank you for writing about things like feminism, anxiety, self-harm...I love how the scene with Hugo and Bree was written as terrifying and downright traumatic, and Bree didn't do a weird, forced 180 to suddenly forgive Hugo for being a dick, which some shows are prone to do. (i need a ? to submit this question, so here)

Hi, I just finished reading Am I Normal Yet? And I would like to say how much it has inspired me, I know mental health isn't always amazing, but the feelings you have described are things I once thought indescribable, I loved the paragraphs at the end describing how women's roles in society impacts their mental health. I was wondering, should me and my best friend try to find ways to help this stop?

And it's totally up to you. A really easy place to start though is just to start a Spinster Club - where you and your friends meet up and chat about what it's like to be female and the issues you come across. Just raising awareness in yourself and others is a great starting place - plus, it's great fun :)

I dont have much of a question, more of an expression of gratitude...! I've now, since this summer read and re-read Am I Normal Yet? and for me its one of those books that just stays with you. its so truthful and as i read it i catch my self letting out a little sigh of recognition. So thank you for writing it and i can't wait to read How Hard Can Love Be? !!

I'm now officially an Old Git who doesn't do social media, so this is the only place I can find to say personally how very, very good I think Am I Normal Yet? is. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Stuff I have believed and fought for all my life as a teacher (and elsewhere), superbly put in a great, engrossing story which made me laugh a lot, too. I offer you my respects, thanks and very best wishes.

What are your plans for future books?
Holly Bourne Am I Normal Yet? is the first in a trilogy, based around the Spinster Club. The second book is Amber's story, called How Hard Can Love Be? and it out in Feb 2015. The third is Lottie's book, which is out in August 2016.

And I'm just working on the early stages of an exciting YA romance set in a small cinema :) :)
