Ken MacGregor Take walks. Push through it. Hit the gym. Do something fun and/or interesting. Work on something else until the gears start turning again on whatever was stuck. Also, beer.
Ken MacGregor Several short stories and the sequel to a novel (first one is pending, but due out pretty soon). I'm also toying with the idea of writing a sequel to the kid horror novella, but I want to see if I can sell this one first.
Ken MacGregor When a reader seeks me out to tell me something I wrote moved them in some way, be it they related to the character or story, or just had a blast reading it... That's the best.

Ken MacGregor Don't be afraid to take chances. Don't try to be like anyone else. Your voice is makes you special, what sets you apart.
Also, don't give up. You'll want to, probably several times. Don't. If you want this, it's worth sticking it out.
Ken MacGregor The world around me inspires me. Snatches of overheard conversations, the smell of fresh bread carried on a breeze, a stitch in my side from running; every piece of stimulus can become a story. That's why I try to pay attention to what's going on.
Ken MacGregor My latest book, a horror novella for kids (finished, and seeking representation now) was inspired by my son, who asked if I was ever going to write a horror story he could read.
Well, kid, now I have.
