That's a good question. Writing is such a passion of mine. However, I also act professionally and work as an editor, so I'd probably focus more on those two things. Thanks for asking!

I find inspiration from new things every day...Also, these are a few of my favorite things that often inspire me to write: singing loudly to my favorite songs, re-watching my favorite childhood movie, admiring great works of art, luxuriating in a bubble bath, reading about people I admire, volunteering to help effective charities, and spending time with animals.

Write as often as you can. The best way to get better at writing is simply doing it, then evaluating your work as objectively as you can. Seek feedback from people who are likely to give you an honest opinion. Also, read all kinds of books. I learned something about writing from every book I've read.

I am excited to have a holiday-themed children's book that will be published by Vegan Publishers in the fall of this year. It's such a thrill to see the talented artist and editor work their magic on the book. Also, I am also working on a few projects right now, so I will have a follow-up to my debut novel by early 2016.

I face challenges as an author, but writer's block is not one of them. So I'm fortunate to not deal with this one. I do write each day, even on weekends, so maybe habit is part of why I don't get writer's block? In any case, that's a blessing I appreciate.
