Allen Shadow Another draft of my second novel, "Puppet Girl." Also, short stories and poems. Daily.
Allen Shadow Loving one's work and being connected to the universe, seeing what it speaks.
Allen Shadow Start something. It may be a line, an image. And don't stand over your shoulder, judging. Origination of writing should be done without judgement. Just let yourself go. You can always rewrite, move things around later, or (in old-fashioned parlance) crumple up the page and toss it.
Allen Shadow Write daily. There is always something you can do. If not more copy, copy editing. And there's always the business side of writing: organizing, querying, etc.

Remember: if you do only a little each day, it will add up over time.
Allen Shadow I feel like a conduit. Ideas and images present themselves. One need only remain open.
