Writers Block happens occasionally, its part of that process too. I walk, I read, I think , I give myself time, but I keep on writing too. Mad though it mightg be.

Just now I am working on Mister Rainbow in "The Cock Robin Killer" , nearly ready for the publisher. But also my head is mulling over a possible non detective story , probably an historical novel.

I am very inspired by my own reading of classics and historical facts. For the Mister Rainbow series the national newspapers are full of inspiration for a good detective story. I keep a scrap book of interesting newspaper stories for future reference.

It is so important to just keep on writing everyday. Write memoirs, write short stories, write your first novel and even possibly just put it away for a year, or throw it away. And do it all over again. Never give up.

So many news items inspire me, and of course the existing bio of Mister Rainbow and his friends and family, they just seem to develop them selves. In more detail for this book , the missing child in Britain,the trade in body parts and a great trip to Cahors in France.
