Being of Irish and Scottish descent and reading about the kingdom Dal Riata, I wanted to write an epic tale about the Dal Riata that drew upon Irish myths. The one I am writing now came to me from living in a small community in Gold Rush country. Many of the places and people are drawn from ones here, but not exact copies.
R.L. Cherry Inspiration comes to me without bidding. I have many, many ideas that I have yet to write. I just hope I live long enough to write them!
R.L. Cherry Editing a Celtic historical fiction, a saga, of 6th c. Ireland and Western Scotland titled Three Legs of the Cauldron and 2/3 of the way through a cozy mystery about an Anglican priest in a small, Gold Rush community.

R.L. Cherry Creating a world of my own. It might have many of the same flaws this one does, but it can't be as flawed as this one. Good can triumph.
