Hello! I was looking to read your Kitsune Trilogy series. I saw that you were sending the book out by e-mail since the publisher is no longer available but I tried to email you and I got a response saying that the e-mail could not be found. By recommendation I came across your books too late and found that the publisher is gone. Are you looking for a new publisher and will your works be available again in the future? (I'm really hoping you'll have a Kindle addition)

I have no plan to bring these books back officially, but I checked with the publisher and they graciously granted me permission to give out the files to people who missed out. If you email me at anna at annafrost.ca I can send you all three ebooks in the format you need. :)

First of all, I love your books and can't wait for more (2016...why are all the books I want so far in the future?). I have to know. In the Kitsune trilogy I caught two sets of references to anime, Hikaru and Kaoru, and Usagi and Mamoru (that one took me until the third book after reading the first two twice; in my defense I still think of them as Serena and Darien). Are there anymore?
Anna Frost Thank you! I hope it'll be worth the wait, but in the meantime I hope to release a little something in 2015. Perhaps that "How Aki and Jien met" short story that's been languishing in my files? I keep saying I'll work on it.

Good catch for the references. I'm not aware of any other direct references, but I wouldn't be surprised if my subconscious had managed to sneak another one in. That said, Hachiro from book #3 does take a little after Alex Louis Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist. He's another of my favourite characters. :)

What are you currently working on?
Anna Frost Now that I've sold my Japanese steampunk project (look for it in 2016 from Spencer Hill Press) I'm focusing on developing a light and funny urban fantasy series that follows the adventures of a Canadian girl, her Japanese girlfriend, and their gender-fluid fox spirit guardian.
