I am more of a contributor than a novelist. I love writing shorts and poems. My attention span can sometimes be a problem when I'm working on something longer. Though, I do have an entire children's story ready to go and a great Irish ghost story, as soon as I find the right publisher.

It can happen anywhere at anytime. A trip might do it for some people. For me, its everyday events in life and certainly watching films. I'm a huge film buff. At times I can get an idea from writing a witty little ditty (at least I think it is) on facebook and snap, it leads to a story or poem. Social media can sharpen a writer's claws if done well.

A short story I dreamt the other night. That's right! Sometimes I actually dream them. But, if I don't wake up and jot it down immediately, it comes out very weird. And, I'm writing a poem about popcorn.
