Brief synopsis: The book inspires young African Canadian/American girls and girls all around the world to not fall into the per-set demarcations of what society says is beautiful, but to believe that no matter how they look they too are beautiful just the way they are.

If I am experiencing writer's block, I take a break to ease my mind and then I return to writing. If, when I return and I am still experiencing this, I stop writing and do not return to it until the next day, typically my mind is a lot clear the next day.
