Randy Martin Drink a cup of coffee, play a quick game of chess which I usually lose is generally the best path away from the real world.
Randy Martin The third novel in the Introrse Sci fi series: Pertinae's Garden. The Fossick (spirit scavenger) Pertinae arrives on Earth in a melee of violence in need of a divine poet's insight for resolving. The poet's garden runs parallel to the Socapatoy Rest Home in another dimension. Two old gentlemen, residents of Socapatoy are the only ones convinced of the poet's garden existence. One of the gentlemen is to play a role in setting the Fossick free from the violence. The poet also will influence the decision of a psychiatrist that will serve as the linchpin on which the holy forces of divine alignment will set Earth on a new path.

Also soon to be published in hardback is 'A Miracle Unravels to Weave a Life.' The novelette will be made available through the website Introrse.org.
Randy Martin The influence of reading well written material cannot be over emphasized. Honest critique is also invaluable. Then there's the intangible feeling of when the soul of your editor and your own feels the completeness of what you're wanting to say. Know the important points and give them at least two views (Note the way the writers of Star Trek give both a layman and scientific explanation.).
Randy Martin Not having to work. Just sitting around and making up things.
Randy Martin A walk in the woods. If that doesn't work though it usually does as there's more to find in the woods than what meets the eyes, ears and nose, acting on a whim and doing something I hadn't planned to do. Either method is expedited with patience.
Randy Martin My source of ideas... For Sci fi I think most come from becoming aware of the many mysteries we think we have answers to. Someone will say this is the reason for this or that and an alternative explanation will pop in challenging it. For other genres finding out who I am, where I've been etc. As has been said, "Every life has a story, most more than one." Some of us just feel the need to unburden ourselves of them by putting them on paper.
