The character Raven Blade first made his appearance as part of the short story Rule of the Blade. Shortly after completing it, Raven began to ask for another story, one that was bigger than the last. Once I decided to give him what he wanted, the ideas flowed.

The desire to write is with me every day. It's simply a part of my soul. So I don't really get "inspired" to write. I simply write whenever I can and the words flow.

Simply write. Sit down and put words on paper or screen, letting your muse flow. Also, don't worry about how bad your writing seems when doing a first draft. Those are designed to just be the part of the process where the idea is captured, they aren't designed to be the final product. So write with abandon and then edit later.

I either take time away from my writing, doing something else creative or simply just resting, or I push through the block but sitting down and writing whatever comes to mind in the moment. I almost always delete that but in the process, my block clears.
