If I stay disciplined, writing every day, or as close to it as I can get, writer's block rarely occurs. When it does, there's usually something incredibly wrong with my novel. That was the case with my current WIP, California Dream. I got to the middle and realized the heroine had met her goal in Chapter 3. I had to come up with a new goal and it was a MAJOR rewrite!
