R.R. Newman I've got no other publishing contracts in place but I do have several finished books ready for submission. I'm also working on a new project – a period police procedural based on a real life case – that I'm really excited about.
R.R. Newman I've never read any, I'm ashamed to admit. I'm currently only reading novels from 1959 and I see he published one in that year so maybe I'll give it a go.
R.R. Newman I'd always thought it odd that the Victorian houses on our street don't have cellars. Then I learned that all the others do.
R.R. Newman I'd love to visit Isola, the fictional city invented by Ed McBain (Evan Hunter) for his long-running series of 87th Precinct police procedural novels. It's like New York, but not quite, and I'd be interested to know what makes Isola pizza different.
R.R. Newman I've been reading books from 1959 this year and just finished Richard Condon's magnificently trashy thriller The Manchurian Candidate.
