My favourite fictional couple are Sam Vimes & Lady Sybil from the discworld novels by Sir Terry Prachett.
They are such a loving couple, individual and strong minded in different ways.

I have a couple of tricks for writers block:
1. eat a whole bag of marshmallows sit down with laptop see what happens
2. Go out for a walk and not let yourself return home until you know what you're going to write next
3. If you can't start at the beginning start in the middle and patchwork it all together

I'm currently working on a novel entitled 'Rattatat' about a group of four street-brats and a con artist who set up and elaborate scam to steal from the rich and keep it for themselves.
