How do you get inspired to write?
Martin Edic If I waited for inspiration I'd never write. But walking helps.

Martin Edic Sit and write one word after another without thinking about it. The story will unfold- you have to trust this.

Martin Edic The realization that you flirt with playing god. Better than any game.

Martin Edic Write. Don't think about it. Don't worry if it's good. Just finish the 1st draft. You can fix anything later.

Martin Edic Two novels- one a sequel to The Rememberers and the other a literary fiction (no fantasy) called The Arrowsmith's Daughter.

Martin Edic Reading a bio of John Cage that documented the connection between abstract art and Buddhism in the 50s.
