I am currently working on my new book, Famine to Civil War to be published on Amazon this week or next. I am trying to discover and correct all those small specks that stand out like bird droppings on a windshield.

I do not have to find a way to deal with writers block, because I have never had it. My muse puts a small idea in my head and then my characters seem to take on a life of their own. I just follow along.

The idea for 'Famine to Civil War' came to me while I was researching Irish history for another book idea I was pondering. When I read about the 1845 Great Potato Famine and how over a million Irish men, women and children died and another million people fled Ireland, I knew I had another book to write.
