It is always an adventure for me to write a book. I know lots of authors say the characters just do what they want and the author chronicles their adventures - that's really true for me. I've tried to plot out novels, but when I start writing one of my characters takes over and away we go. Some of those plots are really good, but Arienne, Caly, Cleo, and Angie just had other plans!

I took a virtual vacation during the pandemic to my fictional setting of Mulligan's Cove, Massachusetts. I've been wanting to go there for a long time and since I was home for the summer, writing about it seemed the perfect way to chronicle my escape.
