Sriram Iyer Having worked in corporates around the globe and watching people at work, it became the suject matter of my writings. And then just seeing how people behave differently at work from how they are when you catch them away from work was fascinating and very easily became the core of my stories.
Sriram Iyer I was reading a book of short stories by Marquez, "Strange Pilgrims." In the foreword to the book he speaks about the reasons for writing the book. In this narrative he spoke about writing for the sheer joy of telling a story. I found the idea fascinating and decided to write anything that I thought would be fun to share. Having spent most of my life in corporates, I started writing about the world that I think I understand.
Sriram Iyer I have another book ready to take to the publisher which I will do in a year or so. The theme here too is on the corporate world and all the murky happenings within the lives of people at work.
Sriram Iyer Each of us has a story to tell, perhaps many to tell! And there is someone out there who is waiting to be entertained. So why wait. While the reader always has the right to decide whether what you write is good or not, write for the joy of telling a story and then it is likely to entertain.
Sriram Iyer You create a world in which there is no judge and every character's right to exist is as much as yours.
