I don't know if I really believe in writer's block. Writing is like hiking. Sometimes while hiking you might encounter a stretch that is rougher, and more challenging to get through. Maybe it's a steep uphill climb and it's not pretty. So what? You never see hikers just sitting around on the side of the trail.
"Well, I got hiker's block. I'm just not feeling inspired so I stopped."

I love the wide open possibility of it. Every day I get some strange new idea and suddenly it becomes my job to follow that idea and find where it leads. You never know what's going to be around that corner and that keeps things exciting.

A lot of what I write about is "how to get inspired". But here is a simple 3 step process that works 90% of the time.
1. Lot's of coffee.
2. Wait patiently. Ideas are like fishes, sometimes you just have to out wait them.
3. Take a long walk.
