Alexia Praks Hey. The next in the nine kingdoms series will be in 2017, which will be A Demon's Bride, follows by A Demon's Love.
Alexia Praks Yes ^_^ It will be early 2017.
Alexia Praks For my most recent books, the few I am currently working on right now, I get from animes. Mostly from the characters I love. Falling For Sakura Trilogy is from a few reverse harem and bishounen animes that I've seen, such as Brothers Conflict. His Crimson Rose, I admit I have just started writing this Sunday, after I've watched Betrayal Knows My Name. I just love Luka so much that I have to write a story about him. When I write Luka Crossfire's dialogue, I imagine Sakurai Takahiro's voice speaking. I just love that deep timbre voice of his so much!
Alexia Praks I get inspired by lots of random things. Watching anime, movies, and dramas. Walking is also good. The moment I step outside, my brain becomes super active. Multiple ideas would flash before my eyes. Cool scenes would appear before me like I'm actually watching a movie, hence, that's why I write in third person. This is because I want it to feel like you're watching a movie when you read the book and, yeah, it's because I see it like a movie when I write.
Alexia Praks I have a lot of projects going on at the moment. I'm writing A Secret Proposal, When the Sun Courts the Moon, A Daemon's Wrath as well as a completely new one that I just have to write because the inspiration came to me after watching a cool anime. I love one of the main characters so much, and of course, more so with that particular Japanese voice actor, Sakurai Takahiro, that I simply have to speed type. The title is HIS CRIMSON ROSE, which I'm planning to get Part 1 published by at least January of 2015.
Alexia Praks You gotta love making up stories. You have got to have passion for it. If you don't, you're going to lose it because it's going to be hard with the ups and downs and the writer's block and the doubt that your work isn't good enough etc. I'm still a newbie myself, and I have doubt in my work. The reason I keep going is because I love writing and creating stories. And I also hope that other people will love my work, too. Oh yeah, and the bad reviews and the trolls. They will hurt you when you read them. Best advice, toughen up and move on. Life is too short. Get on with the next book and make it awesome ^_^
Alexia Praks You get to play GOD! LOL! And sometimes the DEVIL! Make things happen. Then you also have to find solutions to problems you yourself created. The second best thing is to know that someone out there love your work and wants more. That's the best feeling ever :P
Alexia Praks When I get writer's block, I go for a very long walk. It usually clears my head and gets my heart pumping. The second option (if walking doesn't work) is watching anime. It has to be Japanese with English Sub because I love listening to Japanese voice actors. They're amazing and always inspire me to write. Yeah, it's the voice. Awesome :P
