M.S. Watson I grit my teeth and get on with it. There's no point in stopping. If I can't find the words, I make the words fit and then go back later to make it smooth.
M.S. Watson For me, the best thing about being a writer is the comments back from people who compliment you and even those who say that you're one of their favourite authors. I've had that happen and I was just simply amazed. How could someone favourite a book by me: small town girl in the Australian outback? That is my favourite part.
M.S. Watson My top tip is to write and read whenever possible, and to believe in yourself. Believing that you CAN do it is part of the process. If you give up, how are you going to share your stories with the world? Build a fan base and start from the ground up. It takes a lot of teeth grinding, sleepless nights, caffeine and will power to not only write a book, but to make it successful as well.
M.S. Watson I am currently working on Frost which is the second addition to the Poseidon's Girls trilogy. It follows Iris Glass, the main heroine as she and her sister strive to protect their adopted family from Poseidon's father and enemy, Cronus. As Cronus rises in power, the girls must do whatever possible to eliminate this. The girls love and loyalty is tested like never before, and true natures are revealed.
M.S. Watson Anything inspires me to write. I write from photos, words, drawings, dreams, what I would want to be if I was a character of a book...
M.S. Watson I got the idea from simply seeing the cover of a book with the name Poseidon on the front. I decided from there that I wanted to write a Greek mythology based in a Y.A. setting in current-day Beaufort, USA.
