Renee Yancy Vicky, you are so welcome. So often, it feels like I'm writing in a vacuum, never knowing if my writing is "good enough." I think many authors feel this way. So to read a review like yours means the world! It encourages me to keep going when I want to give up. It makes me want to push ahead and gives me hope. So, really, thank you!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Renee Yancy I read something about the centennial of the pandemic flu in 2018.

How do you get inspired to write?

Renee Yancy Lots of things inspire me. Certain periods of history fascinate me and draw me in. I always wished I could have a time machine!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Renee Yancy Don't query too early. Wait at least a year, and then force yourself to wait another year, until your story is as perfect as you can make it. Then have it professionally edited. Worth every penny.
