hi... in May there will be a your book in Italian.. I'm interested in crime and thrillers... do you read Italian authors?

Nate Southard Sadly, I don't have a lot of experience with Italian authors. I'd love to change that, though. Any suggestions?

Is there a reason you choose to write about the "gritty"/horror topics in most of your books? Not judging you, just curious about your influences. (I choose to read this kind of stuff along with police procedurals and I'm trying to figure out why I gravitate that way myself!)

Nate Southard I tend to write the kind of stories I like to read. For some reason, those topics keep getting stuck in my head. I think they're fascinating. Also, I admit I really like playing with characters who are complete fuck ups. There might be something of my personality in that....
