Break through it. Period. Mind over matter. Okay, not a good answer, I'll admit. Here's what I do. In the AM I review/edit what I wrote the afternoon and night before. That get's my juices/confidence pumped up knowing that I've improved my work from the day before. Lunch. Nap. (30 minutes.) Then I'm on to the next 2,500 words, hopefully. But ... I always have the next morning to edit. Pumped up again!

Never thought about it. I suppose it's wrapped up in the exhilaration of creation. Create something worthwhile! Make that your goal.

Read. Read the genre you're writing in. Enroll in a Media Bistro Master Novel writing course (online). Worth every penny. Write. Re-write. Get trusted readers in a Tribe to offer critical feedback. Listen to them. Write and re-write. You're now about five months into your novel! Once you believe you've wiped out all plot holes, grammatical snafus, and non-interested scenes, hire the best editor and pay them a thousand to make it the best it can be. Then ... well, then you have to decide how to get it published. And that's a story for another time. Keep the faith.

The Fair Slayer ... another murder mystery with suspense, but an allegory of the Apostle Paul's ministry. Complicated idea, trying to make simple. And, my talk radio show starts in August, KWAM-990, available on the internet as well.

I've been writing all my professional life ... I started an ad agency at age 27. Copywriter until I sold the firm in 2011. On my fifth novel now.

True. It came to me in a dream. I would not kid about something like that.
