I bake... and sometimes I bake too much when my muse doesn't want to talk to me. My kids even joke that it's good when I have writer's block, because they get spoiled for choice with all the biscuits and breads that I bake.

Declan pretty much caught me by surprise on a very hot December day in Florida. :) I thought he was a ghost at first, until I started rewriting all that I'd written from his point of view, from Baxter's pov. The idea just snowballed from there. :)

I usually write when the little one is doing school work, and then at night before the Frenchman gets home. And since the beginning of January, I decided that I would only write Monday through Friday. So I can read during the weekend.

My Almodovar granddad had a cousin who died in a hotel in Puerto Rico in the 40s. She was discovered with her much older lover in a hotel, and their deaths were ruled murder-suicide. No one in the family talked about it, I found out about it whilst doing my family tree.
