Ooh now that’d be telling. Everything I write is based on some form of truth in my own life. But the biggest most mysterious thing that happened to me was when I heard a song on the radio that I had written being sung by a very famous singer... all will be revealed in my new upcoming memoir!

I’d definitely go to Hogwarts. I’d love to fly upside and down and play a good old game of Quidditch. That’s my competitive sporty side coming out !

Have some me time in the real world. Read. Rest. Paint. Decorate. Dog walk. Make more time to see people and get out and about. I sometimes feel that writers block (for me anyway) is natures way of saying I need a break from living in my head, as writing a book can be all consuming from start to finish.

All of it. The start, the middle and the end. I love it when a new or even better idea pops into my head that fills me with so much excitement. Time wizzes by, its such an immersive thing to do. I love writing with a passion.

I think the most common thing aspiring writers say is; ‘I don’t know where to start,’ me included. Sometimes that’s enough of a barrier for it not to happen which is sad, so my advice to anyone is this; start writing whatever you want to write, the first thing that comes into your head, then build the story around it. My memoir ‘And the Little One Said’ started at my brother’s wedding, I do believe that is now chapter four or five!

I'm currently working on a prequel to my novella The Dream Catcher. Im also half way though a chic lit idea I've had for a while. Also, I'm three-quarters through another memoir which I started in 2000!! Really excited about this one as its a completely different subject matter to my current memoir.

From everything, everywhere, and everyone. Inspiration is all around us. For me, it usually starts with a basic idea for a story, which is quickly followed by the thought 'and then imagine if this or that happened...' and then the laptop comes out and the scribbling starts.
