Hi! I’m in a Women in Literature class right now and we just read Women but some of us have different editions so we discovered that there’s a difference between the end of the 2014 US edition and the end of the 2018 Great Britain version. The last paragraph from the 2014 edition was pretty much cut out. This seemed to us to change the meaning of the ending so I was just curious about the intention behind that?

Chloé Caldwell Hey Caitlin! I didn't see your question until now, a year later. So, Wow, I actually didn't realize that. Maybe at some point I knew it, but forgot. When the UK bought the rights to Women, it was editing again by an editor, and she did tweak a few things and now I'm vaguely remembering this. Which ending do you prefer? I actually like that there are two different ones. Though I'd orignally thought about ending the book with page 119 (in the original) where it says "The sun on my face, I spin in my socks, bruised, exhausted, and fluttering back to earth."
