Yes, absolutely. And it will start with the print edition of my first children's book, My Little Pet Dragon.
I've dragged my feet on this for quite some time, and I agree it would be great for children to be able to bring in a print edition to the classroom.

My son Aidyn is going through a teddy bear phase, so I figured why not do a book about it? Children love their their stuffed animals, even after they grow into adults. It seemed fitting as a children's book author to put together such a book, and the result is I Love You, Teddy.

There are many great things about being a writer--sharing stories, building a following, and interacting with others, both readers and authors alike. Earning residual income off your work(s) also doesn't hurt. But being paid to imagine tops them all.

Just write down your thoughts as they come to you and enjoy what you're doing. Your early works should be about what drew you to writing in the first place. Afterwards, you can target your writing, but it's important to cement the love of writing early. If your grand plans fail, you always have product lines to fall back to.

Here's how I get inspired to write:
1. Let the mind wander.
2. Put butt in chair.
3. Hit keys. A lot of them.
4. Make sense of what you just keyed in.
5. Publish!
