Robin Woods Dropping the glass, my thoughts became sluggish as the coffin came into focus. I'd been drugged and they were all in on it, even my family--my last realization was that the coffin was for me.
Robin Woods Yes, thanks for asking. Prompt Me: Sci-Fi & Fantasy Workbook and Journal should hit shelves this February. In addition, I have three other projects going.

1. A mashup of Beauty & the Beast set in the Viking period (and the Beast is a woman). I'm taking my time with it and am pleased with what I have so far.

2. A Rom-Com with my writing partner--it is super snarky and fun. It isn't my normal genre, but I am having a blast.

3. A compilation of Watcher Series shorts stories compiled into one book, including a 25 page story about Gabriel and Joshua in Romania before The Unintended.

I have a list of other story ideas...so there will be more fiction in the future. If you have Watcher Series requests for the compilation, I am happy to hear them. :)
Robin Woods Personally, I don’t see vampires as villains. As sentient beings, I view them as complex entities with struggles all their own. When you don’t have to fear death, what would you fear? Additionally, what would you strive for? Would you shun any sort or humanity, or search for it? It all comes down to the personal values of each character. Vampires would have to struggle even more than a human to find goodness, but isn’t anything possible?
Robin Woods Killing off your sworn enemies in print...Ummm...I mean, creating magical worlds.
Robin Woods Generally, I reread what I have written and then take a break. A day off can do wonders.

If it persists, I work on a different project or an extra.
Robin Woods I write almost everyday, but music helps me get in the right frame of mind. I have playlists for different types of scenes.
Robin Woods I am finishing the edits for The Fallen: Part One and finishing the first draft for The Fallen: Part Two.
Robin Woods 1. Write everyday (even if it is only a paragraph).

2. Read, read, and read. If you don’t have time to read, you don’t have time to write. Know what is happening in your genre and feed your soul.

3. Guard your writing time.

4. Be consistent.

5. Spend a little time on social media each day. Build a supportive community. Be generous.

6. Have your work professionally edited–by more than one editor (content and line-by-line editors).
