The first book in the series, "Rogue Of The Highlands" involves a Highlander who's inherited an English title and the young, penniless aristocratic widow hired by the prince regent to prepare the "barbarian" for English court. The book introduces readers to the Clan MacLeod and their famous faerie.

That's a hard question to answer. Inspiration comes from many different things. I once read an interview with an artist who said he didn't paint because he wanted to...he painted because he had to. I think that fits a lot of authors as well.
