Who is the mysterious half-brother I never knew existed, until late one night, there was loud thumping upstairs?

I would have to say that it got me. I wasn't planning to write a fantasy trilogy at all. But one day, I wrote a very short story in my journal, and this story started pouring out, and hasn't let go of me yet, 15 years later. You can read more about this here: http://starseersprophecy.com/author/

If you are writing because you want to be a famous author, I would suggest asking yourself:
Do you love writing, revising and editing?
Are you writing from your passion for the story that wants to come thru you?
If not, where is your true passion? (Maybe it is for something other than writing.)

Finding the time to sink into writing &/or editing for hours at a time. I love it!

That's not a problem for me. Whenever I sit down and open up to the story, the images and words start flowing, even when it's been months or years since I last looked at it. I attribute this to having learned to trust the creative flow from the unconscious mind through lots of dreamwork and intuitive painting.
