I love to try out new genres so my current project is a thriller. I started to write Hashtag Murders with the intent of readers getting to know the main character Megan. I wanted people to figure out who she is and why she kills men. As Megan took over, main characters like to do that, the book got longer and Megan kept killing more and more men.
I decided to split the novel into 5 parts and release them as novellas. Megan also likes to dress as fairy tale characters so I've named them accordingly.

Go for it! Believe in yourself and strive for your dream. The more you write, the better you’ll get. If you have a story in you it will fall into place if you allow your creative side to take over. Surround yourself with positive people who believe in you and you’ll do well. Once you’ve written a book or two then you can learn the mechanics of how to publish. Start with the creative side then work on the practical organization of the project.

I’m doing the final touches on my third and latest novel ‘Stolen Spirits.’ It will be published in 2014. It’s a young adult murder mystery about stolen spirits taken from their loved ones. I’ve dedicated the novel to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls of Canada and their Families since one of the underlying themes in the novel is missing and murdered Aboriginal girls.
