The idea for Pages of My Heart originated one day when I was looking at a collection of old photos of queer couples. As someone who hid my sexuality, and then a same sex relationship in my youth, I understood how that affected the bond between two people, creating a type of co-dependency and intense love. I wanted to explore this type of relationship in a time period where discovery could mean imprisonment, or at least total social isolation or ruin.

I am currently working on the final draft of my second novel, which is a second chance mm romance set in my home city of Melbourne. The two MC's are in their late 30s when their paths accidentally collide—some twenty years after they parted ways—forcing them to face their past and question every choice they've ever made since.
