Zane Good question and it is hard for me to pick just one out of the dozens that I have fallen in love with over the decades.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Zane I work on something different and then return to the original work when I can get back into it. The key is to always be writing something.

I read "Addicted" and have seen the your show. I was wondering what your inspiration is for writing your books? Do you use some of your own experiences or friends' experiences?
Zane I use some of both and also have an extremely vivid imagination.

Good morning Zane, I am truly inspired by your work and your ability to keep your audience intrigued from beginning to end. What truly inspires you to create such juicy content? If you were planning to write a novel soon, would you try to include messages about the events that are happening within the US today; such as continued protests, election, how people pay more attention to gossip than news?
Zane Thanks for the love and I apologize for the delayed response. I often mold my storylines around current topics. In my latest published novel, Vengeance, I have a transgender supporting character. I have noticed a lot of intolerance and hatred toward them and wanted to show that love is universal and acceptance is crucial.

I want a black man who is very classy and knows the meaning of intelligence,but I have never met black men like that.my family says that I am mean to men well its just because they are mean to me and I tell them all the time " yo treat me right then there is no problem." but then they don't listen I want to be nice and get married and have children?
Zane Then you have to be nice so you can attract the type of man you desire. A lot of women demand and desire traits in partners that they do not have themselves. In many ways, we are truly who we attract.

Do you ever wish that you were somebody else?like a person that is bold daring like the characters in your stories ?
Zane I am pretty open-minded in real life. I am also bold and daring to an extent because it was a bold move to even become Zane. I have faced a lot of criticism and hatred since I made that choice 20 years ago-LOL

When are you going to finish Afterburn 2? It's been years; and, I can't wait to read it. I'm going to buy it as soon as its released! I love your books!
Zane Solitaire is due in by May 2nd and will be released sometime next year. Three-Piece Meal comes out this fall and thank you very much for your question.
